World Youth Alliance (WYA) Nigeria is a youth-led organization working to promote human dignity and solidarity among young people. We believe in the creative potential of every person and work to build a culture of life.
Founded in 2015, WYA Nigeria has grown from a small group of university students to a nationwide movement. We have successfully implemented over 120 projects ranging from health education to economic empowerment.
We are a global coalition of young people committed to promoting the dignity of the human person and building a culture of life through education, advocacy, and community building.
Anna founded the World Youth Alliance in 1999 at the age of 21. She served as President from 1999 to 2007. Anna holds an MA in Philosophy of Religion from Yale University and a Bachelor of Music from Mount Allison University in Canada. Anna is the CEO of FEMM.
Driven by a deep commitment to human dignity and youth empowerment, our founder established WYA Nigeria to create a platform where young Nigerians could develop their leadership capacity, engage in meaningful advocacy, and contribute to national and global policy change.
Under their leadership, WYA Nigeria has grown from a university campus initiative into a nationwide movement with chapters across multiple states, impacting thousands of young lives through education, training, and community development programs.
